AXIOM OFFSHORE SERVICES

Regional Sales Manager (Offshore Services)
Aberdeen. £55 – 75,000 basic plus excellent benefits and package.
There are, as you know, lots of people out there seeking your services. Recruitment consultants plague
you all day on LinkedIn. After all, you are a really successful, well-paid Sales Manager, with a hugely
impressive CV. And as such, why should you be interested in a move?
Well, we know that it takes quite a lot to shift good people.  Fortunately, it’s not always down to money
(although rest assured, we’ll not stint in that department if necessary), but often it’s those over-used
words, “the challenge”.  So if we can offer you something unique, in the proper sense of that word,
we hope you’ll be interested, or at least read on and make proper sense of what we trust is, thus far,
an intriguing, hopefully beguiling, advert.

Let’s start with the basics.
Who are we? In plain language, Axiom is a well-established, highly successful Offshore Services/NDT
Group. Not only that, but we’ve grown four-fold – organically – over the last four years. Our client base
includes oil majors as well as drilling contractors (our core market) and  specialist offshore/subsea
service companies. We provide a one-stop service for clients requiring inspection, maintenance or
upgrade of their assets and have developed an especially solid reputation for taking the time necessary
to understand our clients’ expectations and then provide a bespoke service for each project.

We now wish to build on  our success by recruiting a uniquely talented individual to be the
face and focal point of our new Aberdeen office.
This requires a first-class track record in business
development in upstream oil and gas, with specific experience in selling to offshore operators and drilling
contractors at a senior level.  Ideally, you’ll have had hands on experience of (some, if not all of) NDT,
Rigging & Lifting, Drilling Maintenance Services, Rope Access and Electrical Services, preferably coupled
with a relevant technical/degree qualification.

This is a senior job, reporting to the Directors. As such, you’ll not just be involved in business
development but will also maintain a clear overview of current projects and operations and will assist
with regional logistics and the general management of our Aberdeen office as required. You will be
expected to lead the acquisition of new business within the region and will have a significant input to
the marketing plan.
We’re asking a lot, but in return we’ll give a lot – challenge, responsibility, opportunity – and of course,
the money and the usual benefits you’d expect at this level.
So if you can demonstrate both ambition and ability, mixed with the determination to take on
a challenge and make the very best of it, you could be just one email away from a conversation
that could change your career.
